THE DISTRICT OF JAROCIN ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The call for candidates to be awarded with the District of Jarocin Achievement Award is open every year until the end of December. This honorary distinction is awarded in four categories:

- Economy

- Education

- Culture & sport

- Community merit and emerging talent

Individuals, legal and non-legal entities, and NGOs are all allowed to enter the competition; as long as their professional and social activities have contributed exceptionally to development and promotion of the District of Jarocin.

Economy Category: promotes creativity and consistency in all work towards economic development of the district.

Education and Culture & Sport Categories: winners may be awarded for the entirety of their activity, or for a particular project that has contributed to a positive image of the district.

Community merit award is given on the basis of achievements that have contributed importantly to the solving of community issues.

Emerging talent is an award for individuals under 25 years of age who excel in science, athletics, culture, and social work, thus contributing to the promotion of the district.

Entries are to be submitted by 31 December to Starostwo Powiatowe [District Government head office].
