The District of Jarocin is situated in the centre of the southern part of Wielkopolskie voivodeship. The District’s capital city, Jarocin, is located next to the State Road no. 11 (Piła-Poznań-Katowice route).

Jarocin is a significant transportation hub, regarding both the railroads, and the motorways. It is easily accessible from Poznań (approx. 70 km), Krotoszyn (30 km), Ostrów Wielkopolski (55 km), Gniezno (72 km) and Konin (70 km).
